Steve Heading to HOYS
09th July 2008
Steve at My Eye Photography has been selected to be part of the team of official event photographers that will be covering the prestigious Horse of the Year Show in October 2008.
It’s a privilege and a great source of pride that in his second year of full time photography Steve has been recognised and gained this coveted position. For someone who takes equine sports photographs and portraits this is a great opportunity.
Horse of the Year Show remains a National Institution, the finale to the showing year and the climax to the domestic show jumping year. It is a place to which all horse owners and riders aspire, as top show jumper John Whitaker highlights, "Winning at HOYS is the pinnacle of every equestrian's career."

Steve says that “It will be a though few days with long hours of intense concentration required. When people are expecting you to get that special shot of them at the climax of this years event calendar, which they have worked very hard to qualify for, it’s a lot of responsibility. I’m looking forward to the challenges, both technically and physically, and experiencing the charged atmosphere of a world class sporting event.”
